Road Rehabilitation in Ajaokuta, Kogi State
As part of its infrastructure support efforts, West African Ceramics Ltd undertook the rehabilitation of key access roads around its operational base which have significantly improved mobility, reduced vehicle wear, and contributed to local economic activity. This includes:

The Ajaokuta–Lokoja highway leading to Geregu Village, improving travel safety and easing transportation of goods and services.
The Ofunene–Ajaokuta Village route, enhancing connectivity for residents and facilitating smoother movement within the community.

Provision of Potable Water to Neighboring Villages
To address water scarcity and enhance public health, West African Ceramics Ltd provided access to clean drinking water through the installation of boreholes in nearby communities. This initiative supplies approximately 500,000 litres of potable water monthly, making daily water access more convenient, hygienic, and reliable for the local population.

Employment Opportunities for Local Communities
With over 1,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities created, ROYAL continues to empower the host community. Approximately 80–85% of the factory workforce is sourced from Kogi State—fostering inclusive growth and regional development.
